Inspiration
When my child was born, I didn't know how to best entertain, play, and support her growth. I realised many parents face the same challenge. My daughter became the inspiration for RealPlay.
What it does
RealPlay gives parents clear, practical guidance on how to play with their child. It offers age-appropriate activities that support learning, development, and bonding -so parents can feel confident and children can thrive.
How we built it
I came up with the idea, and together with my husband, an iOS developer, we turned it into reality. He handled the technical side, while I focused on research and content development.
Challenges we ran into
Working on the project and raising a child at the same time was the biggest challenge. However, our motivation to create something useful for families kept us going.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have developed an application that can help all parents who have the same difficulties as we did.
What we learned
Through this project, we gained valuable knowledge about child development, early learning activities, and the importance of making high-quality parenting resources accessible to everyone.
What's next for RealPlay - Grow through play
We plan to expand RealPlay with new categories—such as speech and language support, Montessori-based activities, homeschooling resources, and more. Our mission is to grow RealPlay into a trusted companion for parents everywhere, helping them feel supported and confident on their parenting journey.
