What it does

RealityLens analyzes images, screenshots, and text to reveal what the human eye misses — manipulation, bias, deepfake indicators, emotional targeting, and hidden influence tactics. It delivers credibility insights and safety ratings so users instantly know if content is trustworthy or trying to mislead them.

How we built it

We combined computer vision and natural language processing models with a credibility-scoring system. The pipeline extracts visual and contextual signals, detects manipulation patterns, evaluates emotional influence, and presents the truth layer through a simple interface designed for real-world users.

What we learned

We discovered how easily humans can be influenced by subtle edits and framing choices. Training data quality and ethical model constraints are crucial. Users value transparency — they want not just a result, but the reason behind it. Most importantly, defending truth requires both strong tech and responsible design.

What’s next

We plan to expand support for video reels, real-time analysis, browser extensions, and community reporting features. We aim to partner with education and cybersecurity sectors, helping people everywhere verify content and resist digital manipulation.
