Inspiration

The Real estate industry is facing many issues such as Inaccessibility to retail investors due to high costs, Poor transaction speed, Lack of transparency, Complexity, Fraud etc. We started this company to use latest technologies such as Blockchain to resolve some of these issues.

The Real Estate industry is highly fragmented with sub-Million Dollar projects to multi-Billion Dollar projects. We want to use this diversity to scale our platform from the ground to Unicorn status by becoming the Kickstarter for Real-Estate projects all over the world.

What it does

Ignithereum Network Ltd is developing a platform based on Blockchain technology to address the issues of fractional ownership and ease of transfer in the real-estate industry. Real Estate Industry has the issues of lack of transparency and smooth transferability of properties. Another issue is that of fractional ownership which reduces the quantum of investments. We are planning to address these issues using Blockchain technology.

Usually, potential homeowners have to come up with a large upfront payment to buy their first home. This reduces the number of potential buyers and also the quantum of investments. Liquidity is also affected due to indivisibility of these investments and the smaller pool of buyers.

In our solution, properties can be divided into very small units called tokens. They are divisible and could trade in a way similar to crypto currencies.

How we built it

We have developed a Dapp which uses TRON Blockchain to mint, sell and buy Real-Estate NFTs as part of this Hackathon. This is available at https://video-marketplace-tron.netlify.app/ and can be tested by the users if they have signed-in with their Tronlik testnet wallet. It is also possible to buy and sell the available NFTs by paying the price in TRON tokens.

Challenges we ran into

TRON has several wallets and integrating with multiple wallets and testing was difficult during the hackathon. So we have limited our project to Tronlink wallet.
