Inspiration

Finding the right property in Ghana can be stressful, time-consuming, and expensive. People often have to visit several locations, and ordinary property photos may not help them imagine how a space would look in real life. This inspired us to explore how AI and modern web technology could make property discovery easier, more interactive, and more personalised.

What it does

PropVision AI helps users discover properties through search and filtering, explore spaces using 360-degree virtual tours, ask questions through AI-powered property assistance, and visualise interior design possibilities. It also aims to make it easier for prospective buyers and renters to connect with real estate agents.

How we built it

We designed PropVision AI as a web-based real estate platform, using React and modern web technologies as the foundation. We focused on creating a user-friendly interface that connects property discovery with virtual exploration and AI-powered experiences. Our development approach prioritises a responsive design and a smooth journey from searching for a property to exploring it and requesting a viewing.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge was balancing our ambitious ideas with the limited time available during the hackathon. Integrating virtual tours, AI assistance, and interior design visualisation requires different technical approaches. We had to think carefully about which features to prioritise and how to make the overall experience practical and achievable.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of developing an idea that applies AI to a real-world challenge in the property market. PropVision AI brings together property discovery, virtual exploration, and interior design visualisation in one concept, with the goal of helping users make more informed decisions before visiting a property.

What we learned

We learned the importance of understanding users' needs, planning features carefully, and balancing innovation with technical feasibility. We also gained a deeper appreciation of how AI can improve everyday experiences when combined with thoughtful design and practical problem-solving

What's next for Real_Estate PropVision

Our next steps are to improve the platform's functionality, strengthen its AI capabilities, integrate reliable virtual tours and interior design generation, and enhance the experience for both property seekers and agents. Ultimately, we want PropVision AI to make property discovery in Ghana more convenient, visual, and accessible, with the potential to expand to other markets.
