What it does
The current implementation provides a bare-bones (to be expanded upon) UI interface that allows searching for properties in MD to get their last assessed value from the contract being used to store these at fixed times. This data will be accessed, stored, and then tokenized.
Challenges we ran into
We started very late and built everything we did in a single day, but wanted to get in. Our developer was new to Chainlink and had some trouble understanding how to fund the contract correctly initially, but was able to overcome this and put the rest together after.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We did a good job putting something together in just a day of real work. We have a good starting framework for ideas we want to build and expand as the next step of our project and plan to continue to build on it. We also came up with some other use cases for Chainlink we want to continue to explore.
What we learned
How to use chainlink functions. A few pitfalls when working with web3 providers.
What's next for Real World Asset Tokenization and Tax
We want to interface with AI agents, increase the data streams available, and fine-tune our UI experience with more time.
