Inspiration

The idea behind Twiit Real stemmed from the fascination with creating a functional and scalable social media platform similar to Twitter. It served as an opportunity to explore real-world application design, emphasizing user interaction, real-time updates, and dynamic content.

What it does

Create and manage profiles.

Share text-based posts.

Interact with posts through likes, comments, and shares.

Explore trending topics and hashtags.

Receive real-time updates and notifications.

How we built it

Frontend: Developed using React.js to provide a seamless, responsive user experience.

Backend: Powered by Node.js and Express.js to handle API requests and server logic.

Database: MongoDB was used to store user profiles, posts, and interactions.

Real-Time Features: Socket.io integrated for live notifications and updates.

Styling: Tailwind CSS for consistent and visually appealing design.

Challenges we ran into
