Insp## Inspiration
Groundwater depletion is a major issue in many regions, especially in rural and semi-urban areas. This project was inspired by the need for an efficient system to monitor groundwater levels in real time and help in sustainable water usage.
What it does
This project uses a Digital Water Level Recorder (DWLR) to continuously monitor groundwater levels. The collected data is transmitted in real time and can be accessed remotely for analysis and decision-making.
How we built it
The system is built using DWLR sensors integrated with a microcontroller. Data is transmitted using IoT technology and stored in a cloud platform for visualization and monitoring.
Challenges we ran into
Some of the major challenges included sensor calibration, data accuracy, and ensuring reliable real-time data transmission.
What we learned
We learned about groundwater monitoring techniques, IoT integration, sensor working principles, and the importance of sustainable resource management.
Future improvements
In future, the system can be enhanced with AI-based prediction models to forecast groundwater depletion and provide early warnings.iration
