Inspiration Our team leader, Omaro Grant, inspired us to create this project. His vision and guidance motivated us to build a system that could make a real impact in emergency response.

What It Does The system provides real-time alerts to users and responders about both natural disasters and emergency situations. This ensures that there are no delays in communication, allowing for quicker response times and improved safety.

How We Built It We developed the system using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#. Our team leveraged Visual Studio Code and Apache Cordova to create a web-based application that functions efficiently in delivering alerts and emergency response updates.

Challenges We Ran Into We faced numerous challenges, but with the assistance of AI, our coaches, and the workshop sessions, we were able to overcome obstacles and make the system functional to some extent. Working as a team helped us navigate technical difficulties and refine our approach.

Accomplishments That We're Proud Of We are proud of our teamwork and collaboration throughout this project. Not only did we make significant progress in building the system, but we also enjoyed the process and learned a lot along the way.

What We Learned This experience has been a huge learning opportunity. We realized how far coding can go beyond our initial expectations, and we gained valuable skills in development, problem-solving, and teamwork.

What's Next for 82 - Real-Time Disaster Alert & Emergency Response System Future updates will include a fully integrated mobile application and an improved user interface (UI) to enhance usability and accessibility.
