Inspiration

We started our journey when we realize that there is a need for complete tracking on the cargo. Sometimes the goods get destroyed due to mishandling or due to high temperature and there is a need for ULDs tracking.

What it does

The device can be mount on the ULDs or inside and the real-time data including the current temperature, orientation, shocks streamed to a server where it can be visualised.

How we built it

  1. Integrated with onrecordcargo API the information of the cargo is updated through the api calls. The data is updated by a POST request by creating logistic object source
  2. We used NodeMCU, LSM303 DLHC- accelero-gyro-temperature sensor by Adafruit for temperature, accelerometer, gyro measurement and a sound detection sensor for any anomalies detections happening inside the cargo
  3. The data is send to a secure server where it can be analysed ## Challenges we ran into
