Inspiration

The idea of founding the Real Time Care app was sparked by the poignant experiences of our former high school friends, who faced the challenge of accessing confidential healthcare in their community. As we delved into understanding the needs of young people, we discovered a pervasive reluctance to openly discuss and seek essential healthcare items like condoms and pregnancy pills from local pharmacies. This reluctance stemmed from a deep-seated sense of embarrassment and fear of judgment.

What it does

Real Time Care is a web app designed to provide discreet healthcare in a private, secure setting for people, especially young people. Our cutting-edge app guarantees on-demand delivery of necessary medications, in addition to a strong support structure and a committed social network. Real Time Care is a lifesaver that quickly and easily links users to important resources and medical facilities, giving them the assistance they require to properly prioritize their health.

How we built it

We built Real Time Care using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. These tools helped us create an easy-to-use interface and add interactive features to the app. With HTML, we structured the app's layout, while CSS made it look visually appealing. JavaScript added functionality like real-time updates, and PHP helped with handling data securely. By combining these tools, we created a user-friendly platform that meets the discreet healthcare needs of individuals

Next for Real Time Care, we aspire to expand our reach beyond serving solely young people and extend our support to individuals in rural areas who lack access to essential medicines. By leveraging our platform's infrastructure and logistics capabilities, we aim to establish partnerships with healthcare providers and organizations to facilitate the delivery of medicines to remote locations. This initiative aligns with our vision of bridging healthcare disparities and ensuring equitable access to vital resources for all communities. Additionally, we plan to implement outreach programs and mobile clinics to further enhance healthcare accessibility in underserved areas, empowering individuals to prioritize their health and well-being regardless of their geographical location.
