Inspiration

I am Mascot ,i created real estate connect ,because of the problem i noticed people face when looking for a house to rent, especially if they are new in the environment ,i had this problem in 2016 when i was posted by NYSC to a place i have never been before to serve Nigeria.It took me almost two month to find the right place to stay ,i later found out i was not the only one that experienced this ,other people who where not fortunate enough where scammed .In light of this i decided to create a Facebook messenger bot where individual will get access to property owners ,developer ,real estate agent ,room mate and potential tenant

What it does

With Real Estate Connect Facebook Messenger Bot ,it made it super easy to find and connect with people interested in renting out space ,house or looking for roommate ,shop mate ,flatmate near by,it work both online and offline .In Nigeria ,we have a lot of people that relocate to a new environment ,irrespective of ,if their rent has expire or not .This leave so many building unoccupied and the rent still running .this is a waste of money ,with real estate connect bot ,i can find and connect people that are looking for a place to rent for a short time, with people that has a place to rent out for a short time.This way the previous tenant will rent out the flat he or she is no longer staying in ,to someone who need it,there by making money from his or her unused stay time.We help people find what they want in the real estate niche.

How I built it

I created it using flow-xo platform,which is a platform for creating bot that works on various social media.

Challenges I ran into

Initially Real Estate Connect was a website ,but i later realize ,my website had some issue that made it difficult to use ,each user have to create an account ,then look for the state he is looking for an apartment in ,this and many more issues made me decide to create a Facebook messenger bot instead .which is more convenient to use ,no need for sign up, if you have a Facebook account .It work on all device. Now the biggest challenge i face is marketing ,i try to market it as much as i can ,but there is only so much i can do alone ,with limited budget.

## Accomplishments that I'm proud of I am able to create and maintain a Facebook messenger bot that solve a problem in the real estate niche.

## What's next for Real Estate Connect Add more feature ,one of which will be In the future, i hope to add a feature such as a grading system ,which will grade each property owner ,developer or estate agent base on pass performance with other clients ,this way i will be able to tell which are the best and worst service provider
