Our team members watch a lot of tutorials on youtube, Lynda and other sources to learn coding. However, an issue that always frustrated us was how we couldn't test out the code we saw in the video without pausing, literally typing that code by hand on our editor and then trying it. This process needs to be deleted, and with a simple click of a button, now we can convert that same tutorial into a notepad-ready text - ready to be highlighted/annotated/etc!
What it does
Users can screenshot any video at any point, and our tool converts that screenshot into a txt file which ahs all the text from that screenshot.
How I built it
We used tesserect for the OCR.
