My wife is a teacher who teaches children how to read. She records the child reading and then uses scientific analysis to breakdown what the child needs, their weaknesses and areas that need to be addressed to enable the child to read.

The app will allow a teacher to upload a recording of the child, just approx 100 words. The teacher also uploads a copy of the text. The app integrates with AI to extract the text, then analyse the childs reading and apply various researched analysis to identify areas that the child needs help. It outlines numerous strategic areas about the child's reading and outputs a detailed report of analysis on the child's reading.

I built this completely with Bolt. Bolt did all of the coding and integrations that were needed. I just outlined what i needed and let Bolt do the rest.

There were numerous challenges so far and as I am not finished I am sure there will be more but at least I have the basic fuctionality in place. Training the AI model will be the next hurdle to be surmounted.

I am proud that I now have an app that allows a teacher to login, create a student profile, create a test for that student, upload audio files, allow audio file conversion and compression, upload multiple images of text, analyse the uploaded files and give a comprehensive report. Delighted so far actually, considering its just myself and Bolt.

Well my biggest learning is how to use Bolt.new and its environment. Understanding the layout, connecting to github, integrating api's and being able to ask the correct questions.

Oh i have lots of plans to be implemented before the hackathon finishes. But Bolt and myself have a plan which we will work on every night.
