I got the idea for this project after I started as a tutor, scrolling through the subjects students struggled with and realized that the vast majority had issues with English spelling and pronunciation. To tackle this issue, I built this Chrome Extension that provides a Spanish translation/definition of highlighted words, as well as the English pronunciation of that word. I built this extension using Javascript, HTML, CSS, Github, and VSCode. Most of the challenges I ran into we're technical or logical issues while programming. I'm proud that I even finished this project, since I started it a couple hours after the beginning of the hackign period and worked on it entirely alone.

I'll attempt to maintain this extension for the next few years, as well as test it with the kids who originally inspired this project.
