This project is an accessibility-first reading tool designed to make digital reading easier for people with ADHD and dyslexia. Using eye-tracking, the reader dynamically adapts to where the user is actually looking, reducing cognitive load and frustration.
The system highlights the current line or word based on gaze position, gently dims surrounding text, and automatically scrolls at a pace that matches the reader’s attention. This removes the need for constant manual scrolling, helps prevent losing your place, and improves reading flow.
Optional features include adjustable focus windows, dyslexia-friendly fonts, spacing controls, and subtle visual or haptic feedback when attention drifts.
The goal is not to force concentration, but to work with the user’s natural reading behaviour, making long texts more accessible, less tiring, and more inclusive - especially in educational and work settings.
