Inspiration
We were inspired by other local-multiplayer games such as Fireboy and Watergirl, as well as other reaction based games like Simon Says
What it does
It is a reaction based local-multiplayer game where you have to press a key when go is green. If you press a key when go is not green, or press it too early you lose a point.
How we built it
We made it using the Python programming language and various libraries such as pygame, with assistance from Github Co-pilot. ## Challenges we ran into We ran into challenges with key input delay, using Github Co-pilot and maximizing and minimizing windows.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the UI/UX design and the game's logical functionality.
What we learned
We learnt how to use Github Co-pilot and Pygame effectively
What's next for Reaction Duel
We hope to add playable characters, varying difficulties, new game modes and add music and sound effects that fit the game.
