Inspiration
As in present scenario online world is expanding , communication becomes a vital component in day to day life. Whether it be office work or personal conservations chatting applications are often used in regular life Through this project I created a chatting application which does help in communicating with others.
What it does
It provides an interface for two people to communicate with each other . First two users should sign in to the application using their google accounts and then once they are verified they can chat with each other in chatbox columns. Once they have finished the chat they can sign out. Only verified users can use the chat application
How we built it
The application is built using reactjs framework and firebase console. The authentication and storage of data is handled by firebase while the frontend design is done using reactjs
Challenges we ran into
Many challenges faced including a process to create a smooth scroll text bar and elements to make the interface much better to use
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The react chat app is very useful in communicating in daily life. With authentication also involved it is very secure from unauthorized users
What we learned
I gained immense knowledge while creating this as how to build a react app from scratch using firebase and how to use react hooks with firebase and other firebase components
What's next for React based Chat App
In the future updates planning to add to more features including better ui and multiple chat windows to chat with more people at the same time
