Inspiration

We got this idea after seeing older people who lived alone and they had to do all their work

What it does

Older people can post their requests on the app like what they want help with. Nearby students can accept their requests and help them with a little incentive.

How we built it

We made the app using flutter and we used Firebase for storing data. We also used google maps for fetching the location of the user.

Challenges we ran into

We were new to flutter so we were not having much experience with app development. Lastly, we have to work with google map APIs which is not very easy to implement

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were very happy after all of our hard work paid off and we made the whole app in such a small amount of time.

What we learned

We learnt two important things: 1.Team Spirit 2.Never Give Up

What's next for ReachOut

we will try to make the UI better and we will also try to improve the overall experience of the user.
