RE5 Academy: AI-Powered Learning Platform

Inspiration

RE5 Academy was created to make AI-assisted education more accessible, interactive, and practical. We wanted to build a platform where learners can explore educational content while leveraging the latest AI technologies to accelerate learning and productivity. Alongside RE5 Academy, we developed AI Dash to showcase how AI can enhance everyday workflows.

Our goal was to demonstrate how OpenAI's latest models can be used to build real-world applications that help people learn, create, and work more effectively.


What it does

RE5 Academy is an AI-powered learning platform that provides users with intelligent educational assistance through an intuitive web interface.

The project includes:

Together, RE5 Academy and AI Dash create an ecosystem that combines education and productivity using OpenAI technology.


How we built it

RE5 Academy was developed as a full-stack web application using modern web technologies, including JavaScript, Node.js, Express, HTML, and CSS. Both applications are deployed on Render and maintained through GitHub.

We used OpenAI GPT-5.6 to power intelligent AI interactions within the platform and Codex throughout development to accelerate implementation, generate boilerplate code, refactor components, debug issues, improve application architecture, and iterate on new features more efficiently. Codex significantly increased development speed while allowing us to focus on user experience and product design.
