Inspiration

I've recently started on a coding journey myself to learn Web Development. I started about 3-4 months ago and because of it I have found the passion for learning code again. I was overwhelmed with how much information there was online about coding and I didn't know which path to take. Finally, after being introduced to the right sources, I was able to find what attracted me to coding again. I want others to be able to have a good source to know where to start, be able to take notes, stay productive and motivated, and share their findings with other like-minded people online that are on their journey as well.

What it does

It provides resources to get started learning code as well as websites that provide tips, tricks, and documentation. Ideally you'd also be able to take, save, and organize notes as well as share them and connect with other coders.

How we built it

Using CSS, HTML, and Java script.

Challenges we ran into

Making the website look how I imagined it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It being the first website I start from scratch, I enjoyed becoming more familiar with the languages and how they interact.

What we learned

How to start a website from scratch and work up from there although not fully responsive.

What's next for Re:sourced Code

Adding a productivity tab with tips and a todo list and project timeline interface to keep track of coding project progress and tasks. Adding functionality to the project button in the home page to offer projects based on experience level. Interested in refactoring using React, adding back-end, and changing the aesthetic entirely.
