Inspiration As high school students, we often have ambitious ideas for nonprofits but lack the tools to bring them to life. Our team faced this challenge firsthand while trying to develop our own community project. We realized there was a significant need for a resource that could guide students through the complexities of nonprofit planning and execution. This inspired us to create Re$olved and its AI component, paloraAI.

What it does Re$olved’s paloraAI helps high school students and nonprofits by providing AI-driven, step-by-step planning, and guidance. It simplifies developing and managing nonprofit projects, offering personalized advice to transform ideas into impactful actions.

How I built it I built Re$olved using React Native, allowing us to create a cross-platform application that is accessible to a wide audience. paloraAI, our custom AI engine, was integrated to deliver tailored guidance and planning steps. I utilized various technologies, including cloud services and APIs, to enhance functionality and user experience.

Challenges I ran into One major challenge was ensuring that the AI provided relevant and practical recommendations for diverse nonprofit projects. Balancing the complexity of planning with the AI’s capabilities required extensive testing and iteration. Additionally, integrating various technologies to work seamlessly together was a complex task.

Accomplishments that I am proud of I am proud to have created a tool that simplifies nonprofit planning for students and organizations. Our AI-driven approach provides tailored support, making it easier to turn innovative ideas into successful projects. The use of React Native enabled us to develop an accessible and user-friendly application.

What I learned Throughout this project, I learned the importance of aligning user needs with technological capabilities. Building an AI system that offers intelligent and practical guidance requires careful consideration and iterative testing. Working with React Native also taught us valuable lessons in developing efficient cross-platform applications.

What's next for Re$olved I plan to develop additional AI-related applications to further support and benefit our community. Our aim is to create more tools that address various needs and challenges, leveraging AI to make a positive impact.
