Inspiration
Important moments can be stressful when we have never practised for them. Whether it is a project viva, a job interview, a startup pitch, or a difficult conversation, people need a safe space to prepare before the real moment arrives.
We created RE:DO with one goal: help people practise with confidence before facing real-life challenges.
What It Does
RE:DO is an AI-powered real-life practice platform designed to help users prepare for challenging situations. Users can explore scenarios, practise their responses, and learn from feedback. The vision is to make preparation more realistic, accessible, and personalised.
How We Built It
RE:DO is built using React, TypeScript, and Vite, with Supabase for backend services. We designed a modern, cinematic interface with 3D-inspired visuals and glassmorphism. The application is being developed around realistic scenario practice, accessible interaction, and a mobile-friendly experience.
Challenges We Ran Into
One major challenge was balancing a visually rich interface with usability and performance. We also worked through deployment configuration, asset paths, and the process of preparing a React application for public hosting.
Accomplishments That We're Proud Of
We brought RE:DO to a publicly accessible website and configured a GitHub Actions workflow for GitHub Pages deployment. We are proud to be building a product focused on practical learning and confidence through preparation.
What We Learned
We learned how frontend architecture, backend integration, responsive design, deployment workflows, and user experience decisions come together when building a real application.
What's Next for RE:DO
Our next priorities are to test and strengthen the complete user journey, verify authentication and backend persistence, improve realistic practice and feedback, and track user progress as these features become available.
