Inspiration
Project Story The Spark Every day, we perform the mechanical act of throwing things away. We see a "Recycle" logo, but we don't see the journey. Does this plastic bottle really matter? We realized that the disconnect between action and impact is why people lose interest in sustainability. We built Re:Bloom to bridge that gap—visually and interactively.
The Journey The experience spans four immersive stages:
The Garage: Sorting through everyday debris while learning the real-world environmental stats of each item.
The Flow: Managing a factory conveyor belt, simulating the precision required in modern sorting facilities.
The Transit: Watching your sorted materials hauled away by "Truck-kun" to the next stage of transformation.
The Rebirth: In the forge, physics-simulated waste is crushed under a hydraulic press, only to bloom into a vibrant sunflower.
The Challenge Achieving seamless 3D performance in the browser required deep integration of React Three Fiber and GSAP. Our biggest hurdle was handling third-party 3D assets with inconsistent origins. We solved this by developing a Dynamic Camera Focus System using THREE.Box3 to calculate the volumetric center of any model, ensuring perfect cinematic framing regardless of the model's internal pivot points.
