Inspiration

Love biology and research! wanted to practice web scraping and Interface creation.

What it does

Allows a user to create and order objects

How I built it

Threw together appJar interface over some beautiful soup web scraping on saturday and sunday.

Challenges I ran into

Finding out the search url which returns a page with no information loaded but a id which can be used to craft the link which the page normal redirects you too if you rant web scraping. Ive never used beautiful soup or url lib or appJar

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Created a useful tool!

What I learned

Learned about interface creation, web-scraping, and perseverance!

What's next for RCSB-Protein-Data-Bank-CSV-Maker

probably add more utility to it maybe make it into a web-interface or adapt it to other sites and make it a database scraper that creates csv output files.
