Inspiration

My grandmother had cancer. Every medication, every test, every instruction came in English. She couldn't read any of it. She wanted to understand her own care herself. Without depending on us.

What it does

rClear takes a hospital discharge document and explains it in plain simple language. The patient uploads or photographs their discharge papers. The app reads the document and extracts four things including what happened, what each medicine is for, what the tests found, and what to do next. The patient chooses how they want to receive this such as read it, listen to it, or see it as a checklist. In English or Spanish. Free.

How we built it

for now i just used claude to research and referered some articles and built prototype on lovable

Challenges we ran into

not able to do coding with real data or sample data , took so much to figure out the problem and then to understand if the problem exists in large scale or not

Accomplishments that we're proud of

i am happy that i was able to finish something which is personal to me. even though i didnt get to finish with building

What we learned

problem is around us and we need to solve those problems which people are getting effected and make things simple to use

What's next for rclear

i did created prototype but its really basic i wanted develop and use some real reports to see if its solving the problem or not
