Ravdesk finds inspiration in leveraging blockchain's potential to nurture African startup ecosystems. Our goal is to establish an equitable crowdfunding platform, supporting university-based innovations and cultivating a thriving tech hub akin to Silicon Valley in Africa.
What it does
Ravdesk operates as an equity crowdfunding app powered by blockchain. Investors utilize cryptocurrency to back African startup ideas. The platform ensures transparency through NFT gated communities, enabling decentralized voting for project direction. This system also approves funding withdrawals by projects, while interactions between founders, investors and the smart contracts occur gaslessly.
How we built it
Ravdesk was crafted by harnessing blockchain's account abstraction. Our team engineered a seamless interface for investors and founders, employing smart contracts to ensure transparent, secure crowdfunding. Meticulous development was dedicated to the NFT gated community and decentralized voting system.
Challenges we ran into
Challenges included enabling gasless interactions, implementing secure decentralized voting, and integrating investment insurance while adhering to regulations. Enhancing user experience for both investors and founders posed additional hurdles.
