RateMyBO

Inspiration

The key inspiration comes from RateMyProfessor, an extremely useful tool that university students swear by. The ability to so easily access opinions of other users effortlessly when it comes to given topics is such a benefit to everyone, so we thought we'd repurpose that system of ranking to be utilized for a much more minute yet beneficial purpose.

What it does

Allows users to rank odour of locations, classes and rooms on campus for the benefit of people who find it distracting / have medical issues with fragrances.

How we built it

While we haven't begun development, if we plan to continue we would utilize Django, a webdev framework through Python.

Challenges we ran into

This is our first time working with any web development, so learning how to do front end programming is tough to wrap our heads around.

We make a polished mockup utilizing blender to give a good idea of what the finished product would look like.
