Inspiration

Our team was inspired to create this app because we wanted to make sure the public knows if a candidate is keeping to their word on policies.

What it does

Our idea creates a score for any politician and keeps an unbiased record and scoring on how much they keep to their word.

How we built it

We used back4App for the backend database and html/css/javascript for our front end.

Challenges we ran into

Using blockchain to make sure data is immutable.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Coming up with an idea that we are all excited about and teaming up with a UT student!

What we learned

We learned that having an idea we truly care about is key in having a successful project.

What's next for Leader Ledger

We want to incorporate AI to auto-generate claims made by a politician as well as integrate blockchain technology to keep record of all changes.
