Inspiration
Some members of our group go conduct number 2 on a regular basis. We all want a nice comfortable pooping experience so we wonder what we can do to optimize such experience.
What it does
Our app maps bathrooms on UCSB campus and displays the ratings of each bathroom based on how the users' ratings.
How we built it
To built this app, we utilized flutterflow for front-end and firebase for back-end.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into a lot of problems with user authentication and it took us a while to get a proper page going as were using a new framework to create the app.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of successfully getting our app to work given that we are using a new framework that we have little experience in and that it is some of our first hackathons.
What we learned
We learned general full-stack developing using flutterflow and firebase. We also learned how to function as a group allocate work evenly among us to get progress done.
What's next for Rate My Toilet
More specific breakdown of the ratings to be implemented as well as more functionalities such as how urgent the user is to use the toilet, closest path towards such toilet, expansion to toilets outside UCSB, etc.
