Inspiration
The presentation the biology and chemistry club inspired us to combat diseases that impact Americans.
What it does
Our website allows users to review public restrooms, so people can see the best restroom near them.
How we built it
In three days, our team learned HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop the site.
Challenges we ran into
Our biggest challenge was time. The prototype is currently incomplete.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We bonded greatly over the duration of this project. The languages we learned during this hackathon will benefit us in the future as well. We are honored to be in OwlHacks 2022.
What we learned
We learned about how to create and develop a website on both the frontend and backend.
What's next for Rate My Restroom
We hope our product will be able to expand to a larger radius to benefit more users. Our users will be able to find the best restrooms during road trips, shopping, etc. We hope our product will decrease the growth of UTIs.
