What it does

We are not an ordinary marketplace !!! Rarfinite is an advanced NFT marketplace where you can create-buy-sell-collect NFTs from various collections and artists. We offer various new features and also solve problems that existing NFT marketplaces have. Rarfinite is the first marketplace to offer AI NFT Generation and minting functionality where users can generate AI NFTs by detailing a situation in text format. On the Rarfinite marketplace users can also create on-chain collections and mint NFTs from that collection. Because On-chain collections interoperability is maintained, we can onboard users and artists from other marketplaces to use our marketplace. Our platform also offers an NFT launchpad where users can launch their own NFT collections and get exposure to their content or project.

How we built it

We have built the marketplace with a long-term perspective and hence used technologies that are good at performance and can handle heavy tasks. For the front end, we have used react/next js, and for the backend/database, we have used polybase (zkproof online database). also, we have used many other technologies such as moralis API for fetching NFT data on the mainnet, push protocol for notifications and user chat, IPFS for storing images and NFT data, etc.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into multiple challenges while building the marketplace. As we were working on both versions testnet and mainnet of the marketplace simultaneously. The working test version and the mainnet version have a lot of differences, such as on testnet we are fetching data from polybase but on mainnet, we are fetching data on-chain using moralis API to maintain interoperability. Also, we've faced some issues while implementing AI NFT minting on our marketplace.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are really proud that we have deployed both marketplace versions with proper functioning before the hackathon deadline. We have a lot of things to add but because of time limitations, we have added those features in our upcoming roadmap.

What's next for Rarfinite - AI NFT Marketplace

We are dedicated to Rarfinite and want to make it the best marketplace on the Fantom blockchain. There are a lot of features that we will introduce on our platform in the coming months. We have announced our roadmap on our Github account, make sure to check it out.
