NFT's are heavily community driven, but there are no NFT-native community tools. This is one small step in that direction.

What it does

Every single NFT contract on the Ethereum or Polygon chain will have its own community space. Only holders of that NFT can view the space. Currently the space is a community art project that can be contributed to by the community.

How we built it

The application is built with Moralis for checking NFT's held by a particular user, Alchemy for interfacing with the blockchain, and for hosting.

Challenges we ran into

Authentication is definitely much harder in web3. In order to completely ensure that the contributor was indeed an NFT owner, we would have to make them sign a transaction every time they loaded the page which is a terrible UX.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

When we use the canvas for our own NFT's, it invokes a feeling of nostalgia and excitement. It took a lot of work to get it a polish we were happy with.

What's next?

  • Adding a messaging board.
  • Creating a 2d metaverse type environment.
  • The pixels added to each art piece can be wiped at the end of every month, and the final artwork can be minted to a chain, and dropped to community members.
