Rapid Response aims to solve the inefficient method of locating the caller used today during 911 calls. Additionally, we aim to streamline the process of exchanging information from the user to dispatcher thus allowing for first responders to arrive in a more time efficient manner. Rapid Response utilizes the latitude, longitude, and altitude points of the phone and converts it to a street address which is then sent to the nearest dispatcher in the area along with the nature of the emergency. Furthermore, the user’s physical features are also sent to the dispatchers to help identify the victim of the incident as well the victim’s emergency contacts are also notified of the incident. With Rapid Response, victims of an incident are now able to get the help they need when they need it.
