Inspiration The idea came from real-life emergency situations where people panic, forget helpline numbers, and waste crucial time. We wanted to simplify the emergency reporting process into a single, quick action.

What it does Rapid Rescue allows users to report a medical or fire emergency with one click. The request is stored in real time and instantly shown on an admin dashboard for faster response.

How we built it We built the frontend using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the backend using Node.js and Express, and used MongoDB Atlas for real-time cloud data storage.

Challenges we ran into We faced issues with real-time data updates, API connectivity, and synchronizing frontend and backend logic, which we resolved through debugging and testing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We successfully built a complete end-to-end working system with live data storage, auto-updating admin dashboard, and a clean, professional UI.

What we learned We learned full-stack development, REST APIs, cloud database integration, and the importance of simple UI design for critical applications.

What's next for Rapid Rescue Future improvements include GPS-based location, SMS/WhatsApp alerts, department-wise dashboards, and priority-based emergency handling.
