How it works
Java backend, jQuery on the client. All data moved in compact JSON. Highly extendable, custom controls and actions. Connection adapters, security adapters, database adapters for crazy single sign on and easy (but tough!) security.
Challenges I ran into
A lot of work! Explaining how building html5 in html5 is a minor miracle in itself.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Hyper extensive. Easy for the common user, great power for experts.
What I learned
Tons! And that from just combining simple things comes amazing power.
What's next for Rapid Mobile
Starting with London would be great to roll it out to more local governments in the UK.
