What inspired me
This project came from the frustration of deciding what to wear every day without having a clear view of what I already own. It is easy to forget clothes sitting in a physical wardrobe and buy something similar elsewhere. I wanted to make the wardrobe feel visible, organized, and easier to use before making another purchase.
What I learned
I learned how much thoughtful organization can change a simple everyday decision. Building the project also helped me understand how visual hierarchy, interaction design, and data structure work together to make an experience feel natural.
How I built it
I built the project around the idea of a digital wardrobe: a place to view clothing items, organize them, and make outfit decisions more easily. I focused on presenting items clearly and keeping the interface intuitive, so the user can spend less time searching and more time choosing.
The core goal was simple: Better visibility of clothes = smarter outfit choices = fewer unnecessary purchases
Challenges I faced
The biggest challenge was layering. Making different visual elements stack correctly while keeping the interface clean and usable took careful iteration. I had to pay attention to which elements should appear above or below others, especially when combining cards, images, controls, and overlays.
