Inspiration

My friends were discussing how to decide on the team for the next hackathon, and that's where I got the idea to semi-automate this task through code.

What it does

This project is very helpful to generate lists, objects, pick teams, dates or places. It is very useful in decision making.

How we built it

It didn't require much brainstorming, I knew what I had in mind when starting out. These are the following things I did:

1. Searched for UI designs
2. Initialized the react project
3. Decided the features
4. Logic for randomizing
5. Finalizing the website
6. Deployment

Challenges we ran into

The logic for the randomizing was a little confusing at first and some errors because we had to apply some error boundaries for the max and min team size it was causing the website to crash.

What's next for Randomizer

Use LLMs to consider each team member's skills into account to split into well-balanced teams.
