Inspiration
I was inspired to make this because I didn't see a random bible verse on the skill store. And while I do my best to read a verse a day from the Bible, sometimes I just don't. I thought, why not make this skill so I can hear the Word of God whenever I am near an Alexa device.
What it does
Alexa reads a random verse to anybody asking her to do so.
How I built it
I used javascript, and the alexa sdk documentation.
Challenges I ran into
Making Alexa read the Chapter and verse as a ordinal statement, not a normal statement. Also getting Alexa to read it with the correct pausing after saying the verse.

What's next for Random Bible Verse
I am thinking of being able to ask this app to read me a random verse in a specific topic, such as Fear, Love, Patience etc.
