Inspiration
With a large number of incoming students, the difference in timezone and unavailability of people during summer/winter breaks because of internships, etc, here is a bot which can help prospective and current students before the next semester starts.
What it does
A slackbot to help prospective and current students with academic logistics
How I built it
We used NLPTK and POS tagger to parse the questions which are presented to the bot.
