I wrote the entirety of the web application, from the HTML and S/CSS that describe the structure, layout, and appearance of the application, to the JavaScript that provides functionality and interactivity, and integrating the back-end, powered by MongoDB Stitch, to the front-end. I had never used MongoDB or Stitch before this hackathon, but the benefits of using a NoSQL database program allowed me to focus more on building the front-end of the application rather than managing tedious data manipulation code or back-end infrastructure. Overall, I learned a great deal from participating in Bitcamp and building Rally, and I hope my efforts are manifested in the expos.
