Inspiration

We have been thinking about a way to enable people to share information in a place where keeping one's privacy is increasingly hard and important: be it to avoid censorship or simply keep your personal information a secret, and particularly how this can be a technology everyone can use.

What it does

Rainfall enables anyone to host webpages permanently on the blockchain with complete anonymity and to view them. Built on Midnight's privacy-focused architecture, it combines the permanence of blockchain storage with the discoverability of a traditional web browser.

We are really proud to have completed our POC despite having never used midnight before or having extensive experience working with blockchain. What we've learned on the way to this submission will be invaluable for our careers!

What's next for Rainfall

We hope to continue growing Rainfall to spread information as far and wide to all the people that have a need to share it anonymously and permanently.
