What it does

Rainbow Haven is a Virtual Reality (VR) therapy designed to support pet owners coping with pet loss. The experience helps users navigate their grief through virtual reality therapy, guided by Kübler-Ross's five stages of grief. There are three key phases with Rainbow Haven: onboarding, the therapy session, and final reflection.

How we built it

We built it using Figma to design the assets and ShapeXR to develop the VR experience using those assets. We tested the experience on Meta Quest 3.

Challenges we ran into

It was our first time designing and building XR solutions, as well as our first time using the ShapeXR tool, so we faced many challenges while learning and experimenting with new concepts.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completing an XR solution through a design thinking process under time constraints and developing a meaningful solution to positively impact well-being.
