Inspiration 💭

We were inspired to make a social platform where users with different identities can create their profile with social links and connect with similar people. We wanted it to be a safe yet fun space for people of marginalized genders.

What it does 🦄

This platform allows users that identify with different genders to chat with each other and interact on social media. It's basically a more colorful Linktree alternative :)

How we built it ⚒️

We built this using React and Appwrite. We also heavily used GitHub throughout this Hackathon for tracking our code changes.

Challenges we ran into ⛰️

It took us a bit of time to come up with the idea and get appwrite set up but overall we got the hang of it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of 🙌

We are proud that we were able to come up with an idea in such a short amount of time and create a project that can be used by so many people.

What we learned 👩‍💻

We learned to use Appwrite Realtime to facilitate chats and also used Vite for the first time to create our simple react application. Overall it was fun!
