Inspiration

Human brain memorizing colors and associating them with something very easily. There were people needing this feature for colorization based on different criteria. Some of them were wanting to colorize their risk matrix, some of them want to highlight issues which has a special flag, some managers were wanting to spot issues waiting their approval. This plugin makes all of them possible.

What it does

Plugin colorize issues in issue navigator, dashboard, JIRA Agile's details view or in issue details view based on value of a select field or one of priority, status, resolution build-in fields.

What I learned

Human brain memorizing colors and associating them with something very easily. One they I have change colors to more suitable ones (according to me of course) in our company's JIRA, people were immediately calling to check what was wrong and they wanted it to be reverted to previous colors just because they were used to old ones. So if you decide to use this plugin set your colors carefully at the beginning, because you will not be able to change them after people get used to them.
