The inspiration for Railium came from the B.A.R.R.I.E.R.S report. One of the biggest identified problems with the rail industry is how long customer feedback procurement takes. On the other hand, the second biggest concern for the customer themselves is being able to find a seat.
Taking ideas from WAZE and other crowdsourcing apps, we decided to take this approach to the industry.
What it does
It connects passengers waiting and platforms and those within the trains, and allows them to share information. Train operators can then collect this information for analytic purposes.
How we built it
It was built with HTML, CSS, NodeJS and Swagger.
