🔹 1. Problem Statement The "Desi" Roadside Gap Traveling across diverse terrains (like the motorways or northern routes of Pakistan) presents a significant "information vacuum." While Google Maps is great for cities, it often fails in rural or local stretches where travelers face two critical hurdles: The Mechanic Mystery: When a vehicle breaks down on a remote road, finding a reliable, specialized mechanic is a game of chance. Most local workshops are unlisted or unverified. The Communication Barrier: International travelers and even urban locals often struggle to explain technical car issues or specific dietary needs to local "Ustads" (mechanics) or Dhaba staff due to language and dialect gaps. Static vs. Live Data: Traditional maps don't show "live" community trust. A fuel station might be out of petrol, or a Dhaba might be closed, but the map says it's open. The Goal: To bridge the gap between "Digital Travelers" and "Local Experts" through AI-assisted communication and real-time community intelligence. 🔹 2. Target Audience We are targeting three high-value segments: The International Explorer (Global Impact): Solo backpackers or foreign tourists who lack local language skills and need a "digital friend" to navigate mechanical repairs and authentic food safely. The Urban Road-Tripper (Local Market): Families or groups from cities like Lahore/Karachi who travel to the North or between provinces and prioritize safety, verified fuel stations, and "family-friendly" dhabas. The "Desi" Service Providers (Community): Local mechanics and dhaba owners who gain digital visibility and a way to communicate with high-spending travelers. 🔹 3. Context of Use Rahnuma is designed for three specific "Moments of Need": The Emergency Moment: A user is stuck on the M-2 or a mountain pass with a flat tire. They open the app to find the nearest User-Contributed Mechanic Pin and use the AI Assistant to translate their car's symptoms into local terms. The Discovery Moment: A group of students wants an authentic "Dhaba" experience but is worried about hygiene. They filter by "Top-Rated by Community" to find a hidden gem that Google missed. The Planning Moment: Before leaving, a traveler checks their Travel History to revisit a favorite fuel station or shares a saved "Safe Route" with a friend.
