Inspiration

A few years ago, I was approached by a therapist specializing in anger management. She needed a platform to help her clients find a safe, constructive way to deal with their emotions. I built the Rage Room to meet that need.

What it does

The platform allows users to freely break objects by throwing them or using weapons like a bat or hammer. It’s a powerful, interactive tool for emotional release.

How we built it

This entire experience was built using Horizon Worlds.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was ensuring every single object was fully breakable, whether it was thrown or hit with a weapon.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am incredibly proud that the platform is still being used today to help people manage their anger in a positive way.

What we learned

This project taught me that not every VR experience needs to be a game to have a positive impact on people's lives. The therapeutic value of a tool like the Rage Room proved to be a powerful alternative to traditional gaming.

What's next for Rage Room: A Stress Relief Space

Iam excited to announce that we're adding a competitive element to the Rage Room. Users will soon be able to challenge each other in a timed session to see who can break the most objects and achieve the highest score.
