Inspiration
Themes and Simple Independant games made me chose this gameplay loop. Easy to code, easy to play, easy to improve.
What it does
A very familiar gameplay loop interrupted by relentless pop-up testing your skill at detecting AI's. Most players don't like to read in-game text, so they will have to learn quick patterns to recognise AI's, thus training the Turing Test.
How we built it
Using Godot and AI to generate images (How ironic)
Challenges we ran into
24 hours is short, I have some issues with the HUD. Also I wish I had more time to make more questions.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This is my second GameJam and I'm quite proud of what I was able to accomplish on my own in 24 hours.
What we learned
It's possible to do a convincing (at lest concvincing to me) prototype in 24 hours. Alone
What's next for Rage Against the Turing
AI and gaming are bound to meet. If not in Rage Against the Turing, they will down the road.
