Inspiration

Raffle Defi was inspired by the lack of many decentralized raffle systems, we had to create Raffle Defi because the traditional way of playing lottery/raffle has to be changed in other to provide users with assurance that there will be no foul play in the system.

What it does

Raffle Defi is *decentralized raffle system * where players enter the raffle by depositing categorized crypto amounts, then after the raffle time elapses, the winner is picked at random and the total money collated gets transferred to the winner with some commissions taken and used to fund the nodes that make the entire process completely decentralized.

How we built it

It was built upon the polygon Mumbai testnet using chainlink protocols to make the entire process decentralized and built with different frameworks and technologies like Solidity, React js, CSS, HTML Moralis, chainlink, and Polygon network.

Challenges we ran into

One of the challenges we encountered was emitting, we either had to choose functions or emitting to get the data from the blockchain.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

One achievement we are proud of is being able to complete this project before the deadline and also the teamwork, and how the task-sharing process was smooth.
