Inspiration

With the new decade coming on the horizon we still have not figured out solutions to the old problems. Air pollution in large cities is dangerously high, close to hazardous even. Radioactive incidents are still happening and the threat of a nuclear war is increasing

What it does

Our brave robot goes into hazardous areas and measures the radioactivity. It is controlled remotely by a bespoken application and persits data into a timeseries database.

How we built it

We used Arduino, Raspberry Pi, proximity sensors, Geiger counter and all sorts of other gadgets for the hardware. For software tools we used Grafana, Graphite and Python
